I am trying to get Monero GUI working, but it quits within a few seconds afterof launching, without displaying a Dialogdialog. The Windows error message is;is:

monero-wallet-gui.exe has stopped working

Here is my data; data:

--- Windows 7 Pro 
--- Monero downloaded as; monero-gui-win-x64-v0.11.0.0.zip 
--- I tried putting the path to the Monero diredctorydirectory in the Windows system PATH environmentalenvironment variable 
--- I tried launching the GUI with a CMD file that specifies the complete path to the executable 
--- there are no blank spaces in the path to the executable 
--- the daemon, minerodmonerod.exe seems to run without a hitch 
--- the CLI executable seems to run without a hitch and I was able to create a new wallet 
--- in the file, monero-wallet-gui.log, I have the following error messages:

I would REALLY like to get the GUI up and running.
