Error starting monerod

Question

When running ./monerod --offline I get the following output. Running on Windows 10 Pro in Microsoft Azure using MSYS2 MinGW 64-bit

The error messages are in bold.

monerod does not run.

This was fixed by restarting the machine.

Another process is bound to port 18082, which monerod uses for its 0MQ RPC server. That other process has to let go of that port (possibly by being stopped) before monerod can use it. Alternatively, you can tell monerod to use another port using --zmq-rpc-bind-port X, replacing X with your chosen port.
