I have followed the Qubes + Whonix CLI wallet guide detailed here: https://getmonero.org/resources/user-guides/cli_wallet_daemon_isolation_qubes_whonix.html

Is the intent after completing the guide that when a user wants to interact with their wallet they would launch the monero-wallet-ws and start the ./monero-wallet-cli as per normal? When I do that I get 'can't connect to monerod daemon' message. And if I launch the monerod-ws I can tail the bitmonero.log and see that it is running and synced.

What am I missing here to get the wallet communicating to the daemon?
