I am reading the spec for RandomX, and it seems that the creation of the dataset only relies on K, which changes once every 2 days. However, the designers intend the hardness of calculating the dataset to impact every execution of the program. What is stopping someone from creating an implementation where the dataset is only calculated once for every change of K and reusing it? Wouldn't this negate the benefit of stopping tradeoff attacks that Argon2d provides?
