I have a dual-boot laptop with a W10 partition and a Debian-based Linux distro called Tails with only 8GB space(!). I installed the 64-bit Linux file it installed fine, but I have to use a remote node because I don't have space. I tried 12 different remote nodes and all said "Network Status Connecting" then "Network Ststaus Disconnected".

I thought I'd try it on my W10 partition. I downloaded the Windows installer. The first remote node I tried everything worked, like a dream.

Any ideas? I've heard of starting monerod before monero GUI but don't know how. The Daemon doesn't connect in Tails and that's the fault given. I've hearn the firewall might be blocking monerod
