Recently I bought a website template. The website has an option to accept cryptocurrencies as a payment but the instructions are unclear on how to connect it to what I understand is called a "daemon". For connecting a coin, I need to enter the host (address:port), username and password. Now I am extremely confused what should I do. How do I proceed? As I understand I need to create a monero wallet RPC but I do not have options for setting my own username and password, only wallet name and password. Can you please give me a view on how it is normally done?

You can set a username and password with the --rpc-login flag. I'd advise to use monero-wallet-rpc --help to get an overview of all startup flags (and their corresponding arguments and parameters). – dEBRUYNE Mar 25 at 9:18
