Might keep both options, since they're both secure as nobody can steal your funds with only the viewkey. It's only the privacy aspect which is different. I also like to use xmrchain because it's so smooth. Fyi, that block explorer is open-source and anyone could run it. | |

By using it, you're trusting it not to keep the data or just accepting that it may. If privacy is more important than practicality, then you may want to use this method, which is more private since all the deciphering is done client-side instead of server-side. | |
